Myanmar: Don't Spread Rumors

Dawn asks people to stop spreading rumors. “For example, there was a rumour that a tsunami will hit Sittwe on a specific day (a city in western coast of Myanmar). A lot of people were talking about it, and were worried. I asked what's the source of this information… If there was a source, I would have believe it. But there was no actual reliable source. They said, “Well, I heard it on the foreign radio …”. “Well, I read about it on the internet.” Well, that day just passed, but there was no tsunami”
