South Africa: Bigotry of women's groups

J.S reacts to the statement by the spokesperson for the Commission on Gender Equity in South Africa about men being out of control: “The thing that got me was this blatant attack on men in general. I am sick of these bigoted men-hating women’s groups that feel that every single little thing that goes wrong is due to men.”

I agree with my brother. I would be the first to admit that our men have done alot of wrong. But between men and women of color their has been a pathology of communication due to self and other hatred and shame.Black men are no worse than any others. In order to see and know the truth about themselves and the universe people of all colors and genders must stop playing the blame game.I would challenge women to look at themselves and their history of relating to the male gender. When you look at others with negative expectations, clouded by a history of exploitative past relationships on your own part what positive outcome can you expect. People please be carefull and be concious and allways look forward. If you pick your psychological and emotional sores from the past you will never heal!
