Hi
I actually want to visit China, but was concerned about getting around as an English speaker. I figured the there wouldnt be that problem during the Olympics, but now I see its best to go somewhere else next year.
I don’t agree with MICHELL on the point that you are a native english speaker. Many people in China are able to speak very good english ,so any foreign friends who wanna go to Beijing for Olympics.China is ready for that.
You just have a little faith in China. As far as I know many US pals of mine totally changed their pointview on CHina.
One’s thing’s for sure, the Falun Gongs and the Tibetan separatists will all be there at the Olympics. Someone from these groups is sure to run into the middle of the stage to pull off some stunt for the world to see.
