im a Sikh jatt from Sangrur Punjab and where im from many people agree that Gandhi didnt do nothing to stop the partition he was weak and was scared. The only people who died for the countries freedom were Sikhs like Bhagat Singh, Udham Singh, Kartar Singh, and many more. i dont know why people think Gandhi gave us freedom its probably because the dumb government in India is runned by Hindus. Majority of the British solders where Sikhs and another fact British ruled India for 200 years but only ruled Punjab for only 90 years because the Sikhs were fighting and not scared to die.
Largest amount of sacrifices for the partition of India than any other sect. (Even Mahatma Gandhi was in awe of sikhs.) Starting of Gadar Movement in US in early 1900’s to fight imperialism in India.
