Trinidad & Tobago: Bake & Shark

“I am always very curious to see what people say about Trinidad and Tobago. Not because I want to see their view so much as I am interested to see how accurate they are.” Adele at Thebookmann reports on a television series featuring some of T&T's “bizarre foods”.

I would like to know why Trinidad/Port Of Spain does not have an ASPCA and Tobago has one….I would like to help in POS but do not know where to start from. The government of Trinidad should do something humane to help these poor animals instead of collecting them and euthanizing them just because they are stray and need some food and shelter…it is very cruel and unhumane. The Government of Trinidad should give these creatures some attention as well, they need to live. build a shelter, encourage adoption, promote spay/neuter programs, ask for donations, there are so many animal lovers that love to help. Just ask….but the government should start the big step.

  • The Port of Spain TTSPCA is located off Mucurapo Road in Port of Spain. You can email them at ttspca@hotmail.com
They would be glad of your help.
We would like help from the Government but until such time as we get this assistance, we at the TTSPCA do what
we can. Check our website at TTSPCA.com and you can
see what happened on our pilot Programme SPOTT last October when we promoted spay/neutering programme. This Pilot Programme also took place in Trinidad.
Any animal lovers can always donate money or time to
any of the branches of the TTSPCA.
    Mary
