In Monaco (Principality of Monaco [1]), Marc Giacone [2], the owner of a new satirical website, featuring cartoons [3] allegedly defaming and ridiculing [4] the Prince Albert II [5] and other local politicians risks a 6 month prison sentence and a fine of 1500€ [6]. The website, Monaco Politic Circus, which was meant to imitate the famous French satirical political weekly newspaper Charlie Hebdo [7], has been suspended.
