A Somali filmmaker is looking for Somali actors and actresses for a Somali-American film: “We are shooting a new Somali-American film with multiple themes and story lines that run parallel to each other.This is a no-budget/low-budget kind of movie. This movie will be shot in St. Paul/Minneapolis area. If you live out of state, you whole trip, food and lodging is covered. The exposure to the local film community would be more fulfilling and priceless for a career in movies.”

I disagree the whole idea, Reason: I never saw a true reflection of American films about other people. Good example blackH….Down on Somali defence against Americans. Also always you (Film Makers) only reflect the view of minority and stamp it to whole country or area. Certainly my image is more valuable to be used in abusing my own misinterpreted culture, gaining few dollars in this way is worthless compared to what I am loosing, and I may die doing it and even don’t get chance to repent, so I am out.
