assallam o alaikum sister sadia habib u cant know how much pleasure you have given to my heart.yesterday while roaming through various discussion sites on net i was acutely pained to see the gennerall misformed ideas of pakistanis about lalmasjid issue. sister i agree 101% with you from my heart and soul. this indeed is an azab inflicted on us by Allah. as i write i can hear the tv in my room blaring the ‘killing” of moalana ghazi. but i ,u and every person knows that he will be a ‘shaheed’when he meets Allah . he has done his job . he has proven to Allah that he had no share in the evils of society in pakistan. he has shown that he didnt bowed his head to the person who sold muslims to usa . he has done in his life’swork and INSHAALLAH succeded now its our turn . we too have too prove to Allah that we not only say but also beleive that” la illaha illalALLAH muhammadur-rasoolullah”

as for mademoselle abhi musharref will certainly be glad to hear of your approval as he has sold his soul his pride and his nation’s prestige to win the nods and pats from US and india

AND brother ali dont have any hopes about the islamic character of “pak”army. brother i have spent my life with army . i tell you the inside scoop” get deluded army is not the thing it used to be. its now only robots bought by generals through villas, expensive plots and luxuries. “

You know what bothers me? In this whole circus the nation is again divided. Some blame the occupants, and some blame the government. Some even blame the USA.

But can someone please explain to me where the occupants and the people in the government came from? I mean, they are surely Pakistani’s, or not? They were surely not imported from Mars, were they?

People, wake up! We should start to realise that these people came from amidst us. The fault is within us! These occpants and governments were born in our families, not on the Moon! We want to improve our nation, then surely we will have to start in our own homes. We cannot just “hope” that one day we will wake up and all of our problems will be gone and we will be happy! We cannot just “hope” that on day our country will be succesful and without problems. You know, the road to “someday” leads to a town called “Nowhere”. WE (!) must act to improve our situation. TOGETHER! Not by pointing fingers to others!

Just want to say to all those ignorant supports of theses GULLAH’s (because to call someone mollvi’s they have to be very knowledgeable and very respectful and it is more then a beard and shouting in the name of Allah) that I pray to Allah that none of you or your relatives are around when these so called champions of Islam will unleash there suicide bombers in our neighborhoods and kill other Muslims. It is a duty of every Muslim to acquire the knowledge themselves by reading not following any Gullah with beard shouting he is the one we should follow.

  • All these comments supporting the Ghazi Brothers and the Lal Masjid Brigade has shown how ignorant they are as muslims:

    1. There is no compulsion in Islam – this doesn’t mean that we cannot force people to convert to Islam, it also means we cannot force people to follow its tenets as we see them. Since there is also no concept of priesthood in Islam, each muslim may struggle to follow the religion based on advice from a Scholar, or on their own readings.
    2. All People of the Book (including Jews and Christians) are Muslims, because these are the religions of Abraham, and regardless of what is said of the Jews, even the Prophet himself showed nothing but tolerance and compassion towards them. Where is your compassion towards your own fellow muslims?
    3. Jihad cannot be waged against other Muslims – if it is, it can no longer be classified as Jihad. No violence may be initiated – it may only be self-defence. Lal Masjid initiated every bit of violence that happened over the past 6 months.
    4. Any weapon that has the potential to cause ‘collateral damage’, like suicide bombs, molotov cocktails, etc. which cause indiscriminate damage on innocent and guilty alike, is classified in Islam as a Weapon of Mass Destruction, and is strictly forbidden. What were the Ghazis doing with their stockpile of such arsenal?
    5. There are very strict rules about taking Prisoners of War and Hostages, and the treatment of a vanquished enemy – they must either allow them to leave, or invite them to join your community, though there is no compulsion that POWs convert to Islam. Taking hostages must only be a strategy in a state of war – this was not war. Even worse was using women and children as hostages.
    6. Stop thinking any one from Lal Masjid, or for that matter, any suicide bomber may be termed ‘Shaheed’. Suicide is also strictly forbidden in Islam, besides which, a muslim is only ‘Shaheed’ if he/she is killed during a DEFENSIVE war against non-muslims. This was not a defensive war, nor was it against kafirs. There is no heaven for such people.

It’s interesting to note that Abdul Aziz and Umme Hassan chose to save themselves and to leave behind innocent children to face death. Abdul Rasheed’s cowardice is obvious, as he held those innocent children as human shields in the hope that his life would be spared. I know that Islam does not preach such cowardice.

I cant help but note the similarities between the Lal Masjid incident and the standoff in Waco, Tx between David Koresh and the FBI.
My knowledge of Islam is basic because i would never be so arrogant to state that i understand my religion completely but one of the first things I learnt was “There is no compulsion in religion”. Maulanas Aziz and Ghazi, the Lal Masjid and the Jamia Hafsa were forcing people to behave the way they interpreted Islam when even the Holy Prophet never did so. I cannot recall the Holy Prophet P B.U.H ever ordering his followers to kidnap anyone or beat them in the name of religion. It was only when Islam was threatened that we went up in arms and even then women and children were always spared.
You may argue that the occupants of the Lal Masjid compound felt that islam was threatened when the military starting opposing them but that was only in June. Until then and even until the 9th of July they were being asked to negotiate and always to free the women and children. If you see the interviews of the students who escaped (and you may wonder why they escaped if the “Maulana” was so right) and stated that students inside the compund were holding the younger ones against their will. I dont know Gen Musharraf or anyone from the Govt personally this is what i read in the newspaper and see on TV; this is not what the Govt told me.
Ask yourself why not let the women and children go when they were guaranteed safety? what possible expnanation could you have for holding the innocent if you know there is impending danger, and when this danger could be avoided?????
Maybe its so the Maulana could borrow their heels and Burqa to escape
If he and his brother were the protectors of Islam like many of you have stated they were/are..then Allah Help Islam and us all.

Trial (Aazmaish) is from Allah, by which he judges his people.

Maulana Abdur Rasheed and his companions are all “Shaheed” in the way of Allah, fighting against Batil.

Most of the nation supports Batil against Haq, because Batil is seen as flourishing. But after this incident and many incidents happened in history so far, there will be separate lines drawn between right and wrong.

True Muslims on one side and Munafiqine on the other.

Those who are anti Islamic ways will see themselves from their own eyes that how Islam will finally succeed.

We have just seen a movement start and we will keep it alive and implement Islamic Sharia in the country, InshaAllah.

    Assalam u Alaikum
Ghazi Rasheed was ready to surrender. But this was not the plan of Govt. So was rejected and he is assassined.
Maulana Rafi Usmani and others have a stand point. Lets see how they will come up.

Musharraf is doing it all to get nest term. I am feeling sorry about abdur rashid ghazi.

    Dear all
we should be proud and thankful to Allah that we have PERVAIZ MUSHARRAF as our leader who dealt it so well that pakistan should be proud. A lion and true muslim, a soldier with soft heart. He has removed a cancer from country so well harming least of normal tissues. This an expert surgeon can do.
How these blind opposition people can’t see that, they should all salute him and jointly agree to accept him as president in uniform to save Pakistan and protect it from all disastrous, which i truly believe only a true soldier like him can do.
May Allah persist Pervaiz Musharraf as our president in uniform and give him long life and courage so that he can cure Pakistan of all other cancerous lesions and save its life.
I congratulate him for such a brave intelligent and sympathetic operation of Lal Masjid.
Do anyone disagree with me ?
