Categories: Middle East & North Africa, Iran, Governance, History, Religion

Iranian Truth says [1]“recently, the Iranian government commissioned the destruction of the tomb of Firuzan [2] (Abu-lolo) in Kashan [3].I have also been to the tomb of Firuzan, a beautiful structure which symbolizes the beauty of Iranian architecture, but also epitomizes the struggles of Iranian identity, religion, and history. The destruction of the tomb is due primarily to Firuzan’s controversial role in Islamic history, whereby many believe he was responsible for killing Umar, the second Caliph.”
