Both Babalu Blog and Uncommon Sense are disappointed in The Today Show‘s coverage from Cuba: “For decades, the tendency by many in American media, academia and government has been to look at Cuba only in the context of what the United States has done or hasn't done…Regardless of whether any of that is accurate — and on one level, it is — it tells only part, the less relevant part, of the story.”

Of course rightist exile militants like THEM would be unhappy because the programming showed happy Cubans. Of course, it also showed unhappy Cubans, and nothing will ever satisfy these rightists except images of Cubans in chains.
Cubans are a mixed bag, like all people: some happy, some sad, some good, some bad. These rightist militants are a one-note band: everything’s always totally bad to them.
They should consider what CArlos Saladrigas is trying to tell them in today’s MIAMI HERALD.
