Pakistan: The Budget

The Pakistani Spectator on the upcoming budget. “Prices of milk products is actually increased by 20%. How does a common man survive in such an economic situation. Up-till now currency reserve and reduction in debt payment have no impact on the life of a common man. Increase in salary in upcoming budget is welcome but it cannot cater the actual need as living cost is increased on monthly / daily basis.”

Our Education budget is under 2% of the total expenditure.
In 2006-07 we utilized only one-fourth of that meagre amount.
Is this an eye-opener.
Or is it that…. “We learn from history that we learn nothing from history.”
