China: Beida Weiming Grand Hotel

Xueyong comments on the Peking University's plan to construct a grand hotel in the university campus near the Wei-ming lake. The university tried to justify the plan by saying that it is a hotel and conference complex, however, Xueyong argued that the university should give priority to the teachers and students’ dormintory facilities and merge teaching and living space, rather than turning the campus space into grand building complex (zh).
