True Sri Lankan [1] adds his take on the issue of women with children below the age of five years not being allowed to seek employment abroad. “This is a careful line to tread and I believe that the ban while solving some problems will only increase other problems such as, increase the number of women traveling illegally to work abroad, illegal abortions and children being put up for adoption because of financial constraints on these families and will create a whole new set of problems which may be worse than the present ones.”
