Egyptian blogger Hossam El Hamalawy reports a bizarre incident [1] during the hearing of a case lodged by a judge to block 21 blogs and websites that “harm Egypt’s national interests and defame Hosni Mubarak.”
“The court session ended in a circus, with judge Abdel Fattah Mourad who filed the lawsuit requesting the blocking, assaulted blogger Rami Siyam as he was video-recording the judge leaving the court room,” writes Hamalawy.
The case, which was transferred to another court, will now be heard in April.
