Egyptian blogger Zeinobia gives us links to the discovery of a tomb allegedly belonging to the family of Jesus Christ here. She also gives us her very own analysis of the findings here.
The Arabic form of the name “Jesus” is ‘Isa. The Egyptian (Coptic) form is the same as the Greek form, Iésous, which is generally written something like IHCOYC
There is no other Egyptian form of the name
The name apparently comes from Hebrew, and is equivalent to Joshua (Yehoshua)–The LORD has saved. The Hebrew name ‘Yeshua’ occurs several times in the TaNaK, the Hebrew scriptures, in Chronicles, Ezrra, and Nehemiah.

IS IT TRUE THAT THE NAME “JESUS” IN THE EGYPITIAN TONGUE IS “ESU”, IF NOT WHAT IS IT AND IT’S MEANING?
