Leon Robinson prefaces a post about a series of brutal attacks on gay men in Jamaica by saying: “Homosexuality is frowned upon in Jamaica. Not because were “homophobic” (surely we can't be afraid of them), but because it is unlawful, as our law is based upon the Bible.“

Hey I’m a Jamaican and I’m 22 years and Jamaica is slowly accepting homosexuality. As with anything controversial It takes time and u cant just wake up and expect Jamaican to just become this fun loving place for gays where they show affection in public. NOO thats like rubbing it in there faces. I know a lot of people That are so called “homophobic” that know gay people and dosen’t do them anything thats because the keep it in the privacy of there home but on the other hand just the other day 4 guys were stabbed just for quarrellings about there relationships with each other on the street. Now I’m not saying that its right for the people to hurt them in such a way but don’t rub it in there face. Thats just it at the end. DO WHAT U WANNA DO “BUT DON’T RUB IT IN PEOPLE FACES” or you will get hurt.
