Honduras: Christmas Traditions

“La Gringa” documents the preparations for Christmas in La Ceiba, Honduras: “Christmas traditions in La Ceiba aren't so different from those in the U.S., depending, of course, on the income level of the family. The traditions here in La Ceiba may have been influenced by the long-time presence of the Standard Fruit Company (Dole Co.), at one time the largest employer in the area.”

I don’t understand the purpose of this website..I see questions but no answers. I have a super special friend in Honduras who tells me they don’t usually do gift giving there, and I wanted more information. Are the answers somewhere here?

Though it may be similar, but are there any other tradition that they celebrate during Christmas?
