Fiji: Coup Leader has Truth on His Side

Acid Test looks at the recent history of Fiji and discusses the latest coup. The blogger says “The military should not overthrow elected governments. This is absolutely true. And yet it's Commodore Bainimarama who has most of the truth on his side, even if what he's had to do about it is regrettable.”

    Dear Preetam Rai,

What is so true about Bainimarama’s coup in Fiji. Take a look @ this look as it might broaden your view or correct any misconception about your ideas unless your have already concluded in your mind that all other views are now irrelevant. We as Fiji bloggers are disgusted with unbalance reporting more so from a reputable blog site as Global Voice where you are blogging from.
Heres an excerpt by an expert & past Diplomat for the Commonwealth.http://luveiviti.wordpress.com/

“Bainimarama’s 2006 coup had nothing to do with racial differences in Fiji and much more to do with controversies between him and the then prime minister, Laisinea Qarase, who was threatening to arrest Bainimarama and others for their part in the coup of 2000”
