You see sheep traveling on the roofs of buses all the time in Mali, to say nothing of bicycles and motorbikes. (Here’s my photo of the same thing: http://picasaweb.google.com/peterbaldwin1/HKIMaliFinalEvaluation/photo#5004416724100156610).
One woman I worked with in Mali said she saw sheep being transported on and *in* a bus before Tabaski … They were sitting on the seats and looking out the windows!
