Romania: Language-Free Enclave

Andy H of Csikszereda Musings posts a language distribution map of Romania, which shows that he lives in an enclave where Romanian isn't the dominant language.

  • Thanks for linking me Veronica, but I feel I need to point out that the area I live in is not “Romanian language free” – it’s just that Romanian is not the majority language here. (I know you know this, I just don’t want to upset anyone :-))

    What is the word for mommy (mother) and daddy (father) in the Romania language?

  • @alex u can say: vreau sa ma intalnesc cu tine
    @Mary Mato: we have translation for this 2 words:
    mommy – mami, mother – mama
    daddy – tati, father – tata
