Malaysia: Palagiarism by Editor

Jeff Ooi at the Screenshots blog writes that Malaysia's New Straits Time Press[NSTP] is threatening to sue BBC over a report filed by its Malaysian correspondent. The BBC story said that the paper's group editor Brendan Pereira was resigning because of allegations of plagiarism. “it remains to be seen whether BBC will stand by its correspondent or bow to the threat. However, what is for sure is that when the NSTP's demand is carried in the papers tomorrow — and wire agencies are bound to follow — even those who did not know of Brendan's alleged plagiarism will now know, worldwide.”
