Palestine: Arts and Crafts Village

Culture in Palestine is the legacy that makes up a large portion of the cultural identity that interacts with all the classes of the Palestinian society. It conveys an image that reflects the suffering and oppression of the people caused by the Israeli occupation of Palestine. It made the construction of cultural centres a priority as it supported the Arts and Crafts Village, the Children’s Welfare Garden, the public library, the Holst Cultural Centre and the Rashad Ash-Shawwa Centre, Iman said.

  • Haitham Sabbah (Palestine;Arts and Crafts Village) of Monday,September 4th 2006,was a presentation worth praise and a note of public service from the prespectives of the acadamician, the debator or the moderator of media fourms such as Global Voices.HAITHAM SABBAH had highlighted the importance of the Arts and Crafts not only as finished refined labour products for public display, rather as vital elements of a community in its search for exellence, perfection and the refinment of human enterprises.Palestinian arts and crafts would futher play a great role in the moderation of conflicts and in the search for peace,as the middle east stands as a cradle of human material culture and civilization. All of call the need for the rivisitation of the topic of palestinian arts and crafts as presented by HAITHAM SABBAH.
