Indonesia: Tsunami Alarm

The blogger at Indonesia's Economy Blog does not agree with the Science and Technology minister . The minister claims that giving warning tsunami warnings on radio is a bad idea.

Today, on several lists, the minister in question Kusmayanto Kadiman, responsed to the statement on AP and said he was misquoted.

It turns out that, as Kusmayanto Kadiman also acknowledged, the tsunami bulletin is publicly available http://www.prh.noaa.gov/pr/ptwc/bulletins/indian/indian.2006.07.17.083612
