Rob Mercatante points out [2] that the news is “receiving very little attention from the media outside of Guatemala.” Otto Boye and Arturo Durán celebrate contemporary Latin America's lack of dictators (Es) [3] and describe Montt as “responsible for the most recent holocaust; that directed against the Mayan population.”
