    My family by marriage has handed down photographs fro the 1920s-1960s. On 8″ x 10″ photo has a group of 12 boys. Two of them are holding a sign, “Thanks.” The boys kneeling in front have toys and books. The photo is identified on the back as “Ellader Boys. Asheville. 4-49.” Can you explain this photo? Thanks. Wayne
