I don’t think so… one doesn’t realize that there are SL Tamils of the South embedded within the North east… in Iraq they would be called Human Shields, in Sri Lanka, they’re called the betrayors (i resist the term.. but then thats what makes them sitting ducks to army shells). The only reason they are there is to provide psych comfort… prove me wrong!

this whole war has been about taking sides, not realizing who really was benfitting from it and who was the sufferrer! I haven’t commented on the war or its side effects for almost 7 years now.. but people just don’t get it that they’re not the only victim! the brunt is being felt by all (including the ingnorant soldiers being set in to kill folks)

I think Tamils should rule Tamils and Sinahala people should rule themselves.

    Fairly straight forward concept.

I also read that in the 1977 elections, more then 70% of people in the North-East -so called Tamil Eelam- voted for a single policy party that said it will create seperate state of Tamil Eelam. So the Tamil people clearly want their own state.

The choice I guess is between having Singapore and Malaysia -the two countires that spilt as soon and divisions arose- and Ethiopia and Eateria -the two countires that split after a prolonged war by the ruleing party left both countries will thousands dead and billions in debt-.

The sooner Sri Lanka splits, the better!
