Zambia: violence against women

Zambian blog, Real Life of a Journalist writes on “the undeniable fear of men by women“Men that inflict suffering through pain or other forms of abuse on women only show their level of fear of womens power over them. Most abusers are cowards and liars, wanting to project an image to the world but still knowing the truth.”

  • The undeniable fear of women by men, when i wrote this piece, some said i was being vindictive and had a personal problem with the male folk.
some have said i am a male basher and that most of my writing is at hurting and projecting bad things that males do to women.
i beg to differ. i want people to know that my writing is merely a projection of what is happening in the owrld around me, every day in my country at least 10 girls get sexually abused or defiled. with the HIV/AIDS prevailance and misconceptions attached to it about possible healing options, it would be wrong for me as a trained writer and activist to sit and be quite about my situation.
sex with a child i would like to repeat is not a cure, defiling or sleeping with a younger girl child does not make you cleansed or free from the virus, it just spreads it and ruins lives.
Am happy that people have created this site to show what other people are saying about different issues around the world.
freedom of expression and general dialogue is the key for solving and breaking down barriers to bad traditions and undevelopmental behaviour.
    peace to every one
