Cambodia: Plea to ban 3G Phones

The group claims that such phones would harm the morals of the people. “We are all very concerned that bad people will use modern communication and information technology in the wrong direction and it will make a serious negative effect on morality and social welfare.”

After Hus Wife gave petition to his husband, Now Hun Sen approved this petition and he said that Cambodia should be allowed to use Thirdth Generation mobile phone-3G- in next 10 years. What the government did is not to develop its country to keep pace with devoloped countries. Present development is to keep pace with high technology because every thing is depent on technology such as e-business, e-government and so on. If we have high technology, it is to fasten communicaton over the world.
