Snowsquare.com, Scraps of Moscow and Russian Marketing Blog write about strange-looking ads that have appeared in Moscow and are part of the mobile phone provider MTS re-branding campaign.

    Dear foreing colleagues,
you all are english-speaking and the word “eggs” means nothing for you.
But for russian-speaking people “eggs” mean very, very much.
In Russian “eggs”=”balls” and rebranding looks like an act of exhibitionism.
The same situation had got Apple in Russia in the beginning of 90th.
BBDO Marketing has developed a strategy which joined PC and hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
Russians can not join high technology (PC) and hand instruments.
There was an article regarding such creation.
