More than a thousand have been arrested, many have been beaten up, several killed, and Home Minister Kamal Thapa has threatened martial law. If there was a time when the international community could reach out in solidarity, this is it. A Global Voices blog entry got the blogger an offer from the BBC World Service to participate in a discussion on Nepal: BBC Calls [4]. Phalano.com [5] has photos: Day 1 Photos [6], Day 2 Photos [7].
