Ethiopia: Arrest of school children

ET Blogs & Diaries reports that Meles Zenawi is now arresting elementary school children…..Even elementary school children have now joined the protest. The joke is that after Meles arrests the 10 year olds, the next protesters will be kindergarten children. The world leaders like Blair and Bush seem to be content in supporting this children killer. However, Ethiopians in the Diaspora are turning all stones to expose this brutal man and his brutal suppression of dissent

i am not realy surprised to here the arrests of these young teenagers, because Meles and his gangs must have done and seen more dramatic situations, you know what i mean, when they were bandits back in eighties and ninties, they are known of looting, killing, and torturing anybody who came between them and their evil plans. The western countries, no matter how much respect they have for humanity, black is black, so they simply say nothing so long as we all kill each other.

We hear nothing of this in America!
It is frightening. I wonder why this is not being told?
Perhaps Mr. Bush wants to protect his friends.

A Voice of America (VOA) news report in November last year is still fresh in my mind.

Security forces broke into a house where they arrested an opposition official in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He was not among the top-notch opposition figures but was a victim of the nationwide crackdown on dissent. Seeing her husband was being arrested, his wife, the mother of seven (7) children, broke down in tears, knelt down, and began pleading for his release. One of the security men of Meles Zenawi shot the woman in the head. Another shot. They drove away, leaving a body and a pool of blood in the street.

I believe there is so much fabricated accusation of the government of Ethiopia. We need to ask our selves all if we are helping the situation by fanning the news, true or false, or hurting the development of one of the poorest nations in the world.
The Nation is not led by internet news, the leadership of that ancient country are still doing their jobs. I will be here in the US praying for them, and eventually will move back, I hope they stand still and continue the good work they have started.
