In Free Thoughts [1], a collective Iranian blog, we read The President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad [2] has decided to ban all Western music [3] from his nation’s state radio and TV stations. According to TCS [4] daily, Newspaper columnists attacked Ali Rahbari [5],who was the conductor of Tehran’s symphony orchestra and chose to perform Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. Rahbari was accused of “promoting Western values.”
