East African Peripetatic writes on the two Ugandan first ladies who have decided to become involved in politics….”Janet (for MP) and Miria (for President) These two women in Uganda have decided to get into active politics. One might wonder why I just bring this as if it is an issue. However, these are women of high status in Uganda. The first one, is the current Uganda first Lady while another one is the former wife of the first president of this country, Uganda, Dr. Milton Obote. She is Miria Obote, the first lady number one for Uganda who has been living in exile for the past 23 years.
