I am just as outraged by the actions of the “bail jumping, money laundering, illegal boarder crossing, former morbidly obese governor of Bayelesa state. He hides the under the ill advised law that guarantees state governors immunity while they are in office. If his actions don’t prompt the Nigerian law makers to re-evaluate this morally irreprehensilble law and send a signal to future scoundrels, then this will only be the beginning of actions such as this. This is the second such action by a state official apprehended in the UK. The Nigerian government should launch an investigation into how his escape went undetected. I’m convinced that a multitude of illegal acts were committed. At the end of a long list of crimes committed here will be the same crime that has plagued Nigeria for years…Bribery, Bribery, Bribery.
