I hear that the protesters in El Salvador are actually gang members. I can’t believe that the only country in the entire lower hemisphere of the Americas which happens to be the sole ally of the U.S. is undergoing a major crisis where there is a national curfew involved, and the American media has totally ignored it up till now – one full day into the crisis. But when the U.S. calls for young troops to die in a foreign land, El salvador was and is the only country to stand by the politically isolated U.S.. Where’s the news coverage?
You are right, some of the protesters are gang members in addition to family members of the incarcerated. “Zalcatraz” is a very overcrowded place and truly full of human rights violitions. One can see why there might be a protest.
