Iran: Iran vs. Israel

Categories: Middle East & North Africa, Iran

Dokhtarak from Iran writes about anti-Israel demonstration [1](in Farsi) in Shiraz [2] and says: “Only less than 10% of people have participated by their own desire. 70 percent were school kids, 15 percent military forces and 5 percent officials. She thinks Iranian people have become a joke in the eyes of the world. She thinks even if one day Palestine make peace with Israel, Iranian continue their demonstrations.”

On the other hand, Zetoun says (in Farsi): “There is no such a difference between Israeli government and Iranian one. Dictatorship, repression [3]Zetoun writes there are many rights have been violated in Iran and it is better first we take care of our rights. Zetoun also talks about her dialogue with a 75 years old Jewish lady in a park. This Jewish lady told Zetoun that all her family members left country because of Islamic Republic's pressure. But she wants to die and to be buried in Iran where Jews are living for 2500 years.

While Sibestan believes, like Palestinian authority, Iranian government should try to add Palestine to world map rather to wish to wipe off Israel! [4] (in Farsi)
