SOME KISS! Globo lost its nerve and gave in to the bigots while the whole world was watching………why didn’t you show it??!
As a Brazilian Gay man I feel very frustated for the censorship imposed by Globo TV against the so awaited gay kiss in the Tv series América. they had drawn the whole country attention to this scene, which was even promised by América’s author Glória Perez, however, the scene was cut off at the last time.
We deserve more respect. Globo should have come clean concerning its intentions, and not promising what it would not fulfill
I am very surprised, I did not realize that such views controlled the Brazilian media. It has put a little dent on my perception of Brazil regarding homosexuality and sex in general. I still perceive Brazil as being a little smarter that of North America on issues of sexuality and education of its citizens in regards to sexuality.
