Singapore: Migration blues

Singaporeans thinking about migrating are being reminded that migration is not a bed of roses. “Just get your feet in the door. Other doors will open….” might not be a mantra that works wonders.

Kind of makes you wonder WHY he would leave a comfortable life in the economic miracle that is Singapore, to endure such hardships Down Under..

Yes, I’m envious. In Singapore and Malaysia the govt is forever. Here in Oz we can do kick the bastards out from time to time. It looks like we are going to kick the Bonzai out next. (He is called that because he is smaller than the Bush). The S’pore govt scares me with its ISA, etc. Malaysia also scares me with its ‘tangkap basah’ police, religious dept peeping toms, etc. The Aussie govt is scared of me. We also need about 150,000 workers. I think I know which one I prefer.
