China: Homeland Security officer trial

The ongoing trial of a U.S. Homeland Security officer charged with the beating of a Chinese tourist at Niagra Falls last year is not well-known to Americans, but it definitely is to people in China. ESWN is following developments on this page. Zhao Yan, the Chinese tourist, will testify tomorrow (Monday).

Really sorry to hear about the Chinese tourist being beaten. I hope justice will be served.
I sincerely love the Chinese people. We have many Chinese children in this area, and they are all adopted. They seem to be well loved, and well cared for.
I have many Chinese friends, and I spend Thanksgiving with a family and their extended family. Altogether about 30 people I have taken Chinese cooking lessons, and enjoy eating Chinese food. I know where I live the Chinese school children are considered the best and the brightest.
This tourist will be in my prayers and in my thoughts.
    Jeanie
