Egypt: Sharm Bomb Experience

Daoud Kuttab (a Palestinian Journalist) and his family, were spending their annual vacation at Sharm el-Sheikh the time it was bomb-hit last month (Sharm blast in pictures – BBC). Read the story as he lived it. The good news is that he enjoyed the trip. Good spirit!

I was also on holiday in Sharm el-Sheikh when the bomb hit – we were 2 miles away so not affected at the time, however on visiting Naama Bay many times during the next week. we feel we must write to encourage people to continue visiting this beautiful part of the world. Tourism is well down, shops and restaurants were virtually empty and hard working people were on the verge of Job loss. It was upsetting to see an already damaged area where many died, paying a big price on top of the heartache. We will go back again, and again, hopefully early next year, Please do the same, You wont ge disappointed. Shame on all the people who just left especially the mass Italian Exodus!!!!
