Our friend Clark Boyd – podcaster and reporter for BBC/WGBH's The World – has a great audio profile of our friend Sokari Ekine, creator of the excellent Black Looks blog. Travelling in rural Spain, Clark gets to visit Sokari at home at her farm in Velez-Blanco and chat with her about blogging, rural life and cherry farming. Sokari talks about the controversy her posts on gay and lesbian issues, Nigerian and US politics sometimes cause and the challenges of balancing other aspects of life to make time for blogging. It's an excellent, brief audio piece (5 minutes, 4.2MB, mp3) about one of Africa's most interesting bloggers. Thanks to The World for letting us offer you the mp3 version of the interview as a podcast.
